Raven is a mascot for sports team such as the football team the Baltimore Ravens. 
The raven is used in many modern fairytales as a companion to a villain. This picture shows Raven in"Sleeping Beauty."
The raven is also the subject of many poems such as this book called "A Bird as Black as the Sun."
